Moonlight Cinematography: Film Study

Moonlight was nominated for multiple Oscar categories! Super happy to share a film study of the cinematography I did. In the Youtube video I go through the entire Process of analyzing the light sources and some photoshop tools to help along the way. Halo 5

"From the Wreckage"

One of my favorite games growing up was Halo: Combat Evolved. I loved playing with all my friends and family. We'd stay up all night during LAN parties playing Capture the Flag. Since Halo 5 released recently a bunch of amazing artists at 343 Industries (Sparth, Kory Hubbel, Justin Oaksford, Kyle Hefley and John Wallin Liberto to name a few) posted a ton of their production work from the game. It astounds me the amount of love and care that go into making a game of that caliber. I decided to do a rendition of the Master Chief himself in my down time. So I've been helping out some friends with tutorials every once in a while and thought everyone else might like to see them as well. I've started a youtube channel where I'll be sharing some of the knowledge I've gained in the last few years, as well as sharing stuff I'm still working on getting better at. Beasts of No Nation

Just watched Beasets of No Nation on Netflix and thought it was a great film. It reminds me that there is so much complexity in destabalized regions in the world.Had to get these drawings out as a result. Clearly influenced by the styles of Violaine Briat, Julien Rossire and Alexandre Diboine. Thanks for taking a look!
