Sketch Up Models

First off I have to give a shout out to Justin Oaksford, a third term Entertainment student here at ACCD. He gave me a quick demo for using this program, called sketch up. He's a really cool dude, and super helpful for crits. Here's a link to his blog, check it out: http://justinoaksford.blogspot.com/

I love sketch up. Its a free program offered by google, check it out. All of these were done in one night over an 11 hour period. It was really fun, and you can be sure I'm going to paint over these, once I can find the time.

Instrument Panel for Study Models

This was a really fun assignment for a class taught by Dennis Campbell. My Instrument panel is a central seating, curvilinear form. This model is made of a volumetric foamcore base with Art Center Special paper formed around it.I think the model does the sketch justice but I feel like the mock up I did in copy paper had more feeling to it... Oh well, next time.
